The Board of Western Mines Group Ltd believes that effective corporate governance improves company performance, enhances corporate social responsibility and benefits all stakeholders; WMG is therefore committed to enacting and complying with the principles of best practice in corporate governance.

The Board has adopted the ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations, 4th Edition (2019) to the extent they are applicable to the Company and the Board considers practicable, taking into consideration the size of the Company’s operations and its stage of development.

Accordingly, the Board has established a number of charters and policies to ensure these intensions of best practice in corporate governance are met and that shareholders are fully informed about the affairs of the Company.

Governance practices are not a static set of principles and the Board is committed to reviewing the Company’s practices and policies on an annual basis to appropriately reflect the change circumstances of the Company as it grows and evolves.
